Del, Misty, Haley and Dawson We have been on the road since the end of June 2012. So living on the road is very new to us. We have learned a lot from the facebook sites and forums. My husband is an insurance adjuster. So wherever storms happen thats where we go. He use to do this several years ago. But we didn't have an RV. We would stay in houses or hotels. We were in FL for 3 months for several hurricanes including Charlie. Then we were in Mobile, Biloxi, Gulfport area for 4 months for hurrican Katrina. We stopped doing this kind of work due to our daughter starting school. No one really homeschooled in Western KY where we were born and raised. But when we moved North of Nashville, TN, alot of people homeschooled. So this gave us the idea to travel. Del was in Wisconsin last year for about 7 months. He would come home and visit once a month. We went and visited him once. So we decided to do this the beginning of 2012 and were on the road in June 2012. Everything happened really fast. He was working in Witchita, KS starting in April. So I had to sell everything, have the yard sales, get items ready to pack and store with family, take care of the kids, research homeschool curriculum etc. It was a lot. But it felt great to get rid of the STUFF. We still have a lot we need to go through that is at our parents houses. But we will be home during the holidays and will have time then. So far we have been in Witchita, KS for a couple of weeks, then moved to Oshkosh, WI. We have been in WI for 2 months.
